Rupiol CaMILO

Rupiol CaMILO

Energy-protein meal supplement in Bypass form

Cold-pressed oil from our own production has undergone lipid mineralization through a saponification process. Calcium salts of fatty acids derived from whole oil have been formed, and the product contains glycerol originating from the oil’s triglycerides. It is precisely the glycerol that gives the product excellent palatability, opening up significant possibilities for a more intensive use of energy supplements in rations. The intake of higher amounts of unsaturated fatty acids from the C18 group relaxes de novo milk fat synthesis and leads to changes in the fatty acid profile of milk fat. In this way, the ratio of palmitic acid (C16:0) to oleic acid (C18:1) shifts in favor of oleic acid. This specific fatty acid profile is responsible for high-quality, easily spreadable butter, comparable in quality to pasture-derived butter.

The functional carrier – expanded rapeseed cake with a high level of rumen protection – complements the high energy footprint of the product Rupiol CaMilo R 30 Dry, drawing from three sources: amino acids as an energy source (especially methionine), oil deeply integrated into the product structure, and the digestible fraction of NDF as a result of technological processing. The ratio of the key amino acids in the product, lysine and methionine, is 2.7:1, which is identical to that found in rumen protein as well as in milk protein.

Through the compaction process, these two components are combined into a highly compact whole, making the product universally applicable regardless of the feeding system (TMR, PMR, or automatic systems).
